Magnesium... is essential to more than 700 different enzymes
Updated: Mar 13
There are 75,000 enzymes in the human body, that catalyse trillions of chemical reaction for you. They do this by reducing the minimum amount of energy required to spark a reaction to ensure that your body can complete metabolic processes fast and efficiently. 700-800 of said enzymes rely on Magnesium to activate them or act as their 'cofactor' - one of the most important ones being DNA/RNA polymerases, needed to transcribe new DNA/RNA. Your enzymes know how important magnesium is, now you do to!
